Our Mission Statement

American Dance and Music, Inc. builds and strengthens the community through dance. The organization is committed to inclusion and access to dance, supporting its constituents in the following ways:

• The Dance Hub (TDH), home of AD&M, is located in the downtown arts district and is known for its quality instruction for adults and its non-judgemental, welcoming environment. It provides two professionally outfitted studios for classes, rehearsals, and performances.
• Affordability: Rent subsidies for non-profits and discounted studio rental rates are available to address the need for affordable space for community instructors and choreographers.
• The Dance Hub Performance Group provides the Dance Hub’s adult dance students with the opportunity to develop their skill and artistry in a supportive environment and through immersion in technique classes, rehearsal, participation in the creative process, and performance.
• Up Close at the Dance Hub is AD&M’s annual studio performance event. In an intimate setting, it delights audiences with diverse works by local and guest performers, choreographers, and musicians, and features the students of The Dance Hub Performance Group.
